Introductory information session (parents only)
Thursday 27th February at 7:00 pm in the Parish Center.
Note to Parents / Caregivers
Children / Young adults preparing for all three sacraments
- Your child is expected to attend all sessions unless it is an absolute emergency. It is important to commit your children to these classes. Personal engagements (e.g. holiday trips, birthday parties, etc.) do occur, but it would be appreciated if these could be rescheduled around class time.
- If your child misses more than 3 sessions overall, they will unfortunately not be able to continue with this programme and receive their sacraments.
- It is important to be on time for each session. Being late would mean you miss out on information and disrupts the class.
- Copies of Baptismal Certificates are required to be submitted at the time for registration for all children EXCEPT those who were baptised at St. Dominic’s Parish. For those children baptised at St. Dominic’s Parish, please specify date of baptism on the enrolment form.
Children preparing for Confirmation only
If your child is only receiving the sacrament of Confirmation, they do not have to attend the sessions on Reconciliation and First Holy Eucharist. However, they are most welcome to do so if they wish as this would be a good refresher for them.
Sessions for Parents and/or Guardians
Sessions will be offered for parents and/or guardians at the same time they are running for the children. These sessions are an opportunity for you to be updated about the Sacraments of initiation and will assist in the shared learning with your children and family.
